Introducing our May MHLC Advisor Spotlight, Nicole Kennedy, MPA!

Nicole Kennedy, MPA, is a Research Specialist at Rodel in Delaware. She also serves as a founding advisor of the MHLC and a member of the leadership team for the MHLC Young Adult Advocacy Council. In addition, her contributions are numerous and her generosity of time is immense.

Nicole has volunteered to represent the MHLC at Delaware youth mental health events, sharing the benefits of MHL for youth, staff, and families, and she stepped in to accept the Blue Hen Most Promising Venture Award from the University of Delaware when our CEO was unable to attend. Nicole has co-authored the recent MHL policy research publication in American Journal on Health Education, and next month she'll be co-presenting at the 23rd Annual Policy and Practice Institute: Delaware’s Conference on Public Education.

Nationally Recognized School Mental Health Leader Sean Perry Leads our June Community of Practice

Sean Perry, Founder and Executive Director of We R H.O.P.E., has been recognized nationally for his contributions to the field of school mental health.

In this vital CoP session, "District Wide Common Language and Outcomes: Why the Implication of MHL is so vital in our school districts,” Sean will share his work from years in the field serving Tiers II and III students around the globe. He will explore the benefits of using MHL programs as a part of school and community-based mental health services for youth and the need for MHL implementation at district levels.
