New Mexico Educators Embrace MHL with Customized Half-Day Workshop

Recently, our CEO Annie Slease traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico to offer a customized, interactive, half-day MHL Aware Workshop for education leaders from New Mexico Public Education Department, New Mexico higher education institutions, and community partner agencies. Annie enjoyed connecting foundational MHL concepts to New Mexico’s emerging work creating Wellness Spaces in K12 schools. Together, they explored new possibilities for community partners and higher education leaders to create MHL-related collaborations.

We are proud to share that now 70 New Mexico education leaders have the skills and confidence they need to take the next steps with MHL in their school communities!

We look forward to the many ways the MHLC can continue supporting MHL efforts in New Mexico!
