Exciting News: Launch of the MHL Aware Facilitator Guide!

We’re excited to introduce the MHL Aware Facilitator Guide, a new resource developed in response to feedback from education leaders across the country seeking meaningful ways to integrate MHL Aware into their existing professional learning communities.

This new guide offers a flexible, discussion-based approach while maintaining fidelity to the core MHL Aware content, making it easier for schools to build mental health literacy (MHL) into their existing professional development activities.

Why it matters: Low educator confidence is a major barrier to effective MHL education. MHL Aware helps build that confidence and the Facilitator Guide offers a structured yet adaptable approach to educator engagement with the material.

Please note: This opportunity is available exclusively to school leaders who meet specific criteria for implementation readiness and alignment with program goals.

A recent study published in Scientific Research explores mental health literacy (MHL) among middle school students in Kathmandu.

The findings highlight a clear gap: while awareness of common conditions like depression and anxiety is relatively high, knowledge of less familiar mental health issues remains limited, particularly among male students and those from households with less access to formal education.
